Woodfern Elementary School Music Page!
Ideas and practices of Orff-Schulwerk, the Kodály method, Dalcroze techniques and Conversational Solfege are all incorporated into sequential music lessons using the district approved curriculum based on the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards as well as the National Standards. Because all people learn differently, I provide children with experiences using techniques which address a variety of learning styles. All grades have music class for forty minutes once every six day cycle for a total of thirty classes in a year. Follow the links below to see what your child will be doing in music class this year!
