Woodfern Elementary School is nestled in the beautiful countryside of Neshanic, New Jersey.  It is "home" to about 400 kindergarten through fourth grade students and 46 teachers. In addition to an outstanding education program, Woodfern prides itself on having a family atmosphere. The Woodfern family works cooperatively to carry on various school wide traditions. These traditions include  "Field Day" and the "Read Across America".

The Woodfern parents play an important role as partners in our educational community. The Home and School Association funds and organizes many enriching programs at Woodfern Elementary, such as Young Authors Day, the Book Fair, and school wide assemblies. In addition to the daily activities at Woodfern Elementary School, the staff and parents provide after school programs to support the students in their educational endeavors. These programs include Family Math and Family Science.

Woodfern Elementary School is a child centered environment where teachers work to meet the individual needs of their students. All of the adults at Woodfern Elementary School believe in a love of learning, the innate curiosity of children, and teaching as a truly rewarding profession.
