A Wealth of Information

The Genesis Parent Portal contains a wealth of information. In the Portal you will be able to view the following information:

- Emergency contact information (and also update)
- Attendance records
- Report cards (past and present)
- Bus information
- Teacher and classroom assignment

Additionally, in our continued effort to go “Green”, we are excited to announce that we have expanded the parent capabilities of the Genesis Parent Portal.  This year we will no longer be sending paper copies home for parents to sign the Acceptable Use Policy(permission for your students to access the HTPS network),  and the Media Release Form (permission for your child’s name and/or photo/image to be published).  This will all be done through the Genesis Parent Portal.  We are asking that ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS SIGN INTO THEIR GENESIS PARENTL PORTAL to review and sign these two forms. 

Directions are as follows:

  • Log into your Genesis Parent Portal (there is a direct link on the District home page)
  • Find the tab at the top that says "Documents" and go to that page, and the documents will be listed.
  • Open the PDF document, read it, click the back button on the browser, and then click the green "acknowledge" button to electronically sign the document.

We encourage all parents to log into their Genesis parent portal routinely to review their child's information and update emergency contact information as needed. If you are having difficulty logging into your Genesis Parent Portal, please contact the Woodfern School office for assistance.
